No Strings Theatre

One of the first site’s I designed for someone else was for No Strings Theatre Company. Friends of mine, fellow professors at the university, built a theatre in Las Cruces after they retired. I served on their Board of Directors for a while.

They needed a web site for taking reservations, soliciting volunteers, providing information about auditions, and for displaying reviews of their productions.

Once again, I called upon my friend Beverly at Moon and Back Graphics to help create the graphics for No Strings. I designed the site layout and created all of the forms used on the site. The initial forms were perl/cgi-based and included reservations and volunteers. We have since moved to php-based form processing.

I maintained the web site for quite some time, and eventually turned that over to No Strings. We are gearing up for a major redesign and update of the web site, so keep an eye out. And if you are ever in Las Cruces and want to see quality theatre, you won’t want to miss No Strings Theatre Company at the Black Box Theatre.
